The Importance of Planning

It is important to plan and do it every 90 days! As a wise man once said, “By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail” – Benjamin Franklin. I personally plan my business (and life) out this way and it has been so beneficial when it comes to productivity, implementation, and knocking out goals. Planning can be quite intimidating to some, especially when it feels like everything has to go according to plan but the beauty of a plan is that it is an outline of what needs to happen. It can be changed at the drop of a hat.

Why You Should Plan

As an entrepreneur, planning is going to be your best friend. It will assist in being able to plan and track your growth, get you through any speed bumps and universal pushback, and it will even help you to visualize and scale your business without the feeling of overwhelm. Planning is the blueprint to your future and it is crucial that you grab on to the opportunity and prepare. Your plan is the backbone to any dream or goal that you have. It is going to ultimately be the difference between success and failure. Moving forward, let’s start planning the next 90 days!

Questions To Ask To Help Plan

First and foremost, we are going to want to breakdown the next 90 days. You are going to want to answer these questions.

Tip: It is NOT about doing more, but more about doing less, BETTER.

What do you to achieve in the next 90 days?

Tip: Journal these items so you can have them organized

What do you want to sell over the next 90 days to achieve these goals?

Tip: Put all of these things on your calendar.

What content do you need to create to help support the products you are selling?

Tip: Look at the quality vs. the quantity.

What is your funnel? How will they get to you and your product or service?

Tip: Think through the process. Journal if that helps you to visualize the process.

How do you get them to a YES via emails?

Tip: Brainstorm what has been working and what has not.

Break down the emails they will receive for the sales sequence.

And finally, don’t forget the nurture emails once they have purchased. How can you love them up?

Creating the Plan

This is something you want to do every 90 days. Once you have identified those key questions you can put them all into play! By having a visual calendar with the key elements you are wanting to achieve and how you are going to implement them, you can map them out on your timeline. It is completely okay if everything doesn’t go exactly as planned. That means that if your original strategy wasn’t completely followed, you can adjust where it is needed to accommodate. It also means that once you have achieved your goals and are ready to continue forward, you can map out those plans as well!
