As you are well aware 2016 is nearly upon us. And it’s imperative to start planning and making sure you propel your business forward in 2016. This is your life blood, so let’s not just stroll into 2016, let’s dive head first. BUT, let’s do it with a plan in mind.

20 Tips to Propel Your Business Forward in 2016

1. Write articles and submit them to different online publications. There are loads of websites that are seeking contributions from people just like you. Make it happen.

2. Create a Youtube, Periscope or Blab channel. These platforms can be invaluable for growing your credibility and know like and trust factor. Video is such a great way of breaking down the barrier of entry to working with you.

3. Offer to be a guest blogger for people that are serving your target market.

4. Share some of your testimonials and client successes in Facebook groups or in your newsletter. Make sure to include a link back to your work with me page.

5. Comment in Facebook groups and genuinely be supportive and helpful to others in the group. Schedule 30 minutes per day to do this.

6. Create a fun giveaway or competition to entice and engage people. Have them sign up to your list to enter to win or participate. This is a great way to showcase your skills and expertise.

7. Connect and build relationships with other entrepreneurs. Don’t be afraid of creating joint ventures together. There doesn’t have to be competition, there is enough for everyone.

8. Create a NEW irresistible opt-in. {And if you are struggling with this hit reply and let me know. I’m creating a mini-course that I will be launching in 2 weeks. Happy to include anything you are struggling with specifically.)

8. Interview successful people in your field or up-and-coming people within your field. This is a great way to showcase who you are and what you do.

9. Give a presentation or run a workshop at a local university.

10. Speak for free at local clubs, networking events and community centers.

11. Be interviewed by a podcaster or on a radio station.

12. Create Facebook ads and put them into your marketing strategy in 2016.

13. Attend or host regular Meet-up groups in your area, these can be business groups or hobby groups. Networking is a brilliant way to grow your business.

14. Explore the world of online forums and sites such as LinkedIn, Yelp, Quora.

15. Run an online seminar (webinar) and provide loads of FREE content and value and allow your prospective clients to get to know you better. Let them know who you are and what you do.

16. Reach out to your existing friends and network. Ask them to share your wonderful service with others. You may also like to provide them with a referral fee.

17. Be Consistent. If you aren’t consistent with your marketing and business strategy then you are going to fail. It’s really that simple.

18. Take inspired action daily. Tap into your higher self, the Universe, God, Spirit, however you refer to it, and ask daily what it is you should focus on and then listen. You may not hear exactly what you are supposed to do that moment, but keep listening because at some point in the day you will hear something. It might be while you’re in the shower or taking the kids to school. But listen and TAKE ACTION on whatever you hear.

19. Take planned action daily. On the flip side to #18 I want you to plan and know what your MOST important task is daily. What is the ONE thing you need to do to keep moving your business forward and make the most impact today. Do it the first thing in the morning, so you’ll be able to reflect on the day as a success no matter what happens after that.

20. Create a beautiful life for yourself. When we’re living out our dreams, we are exuding a type of energy into the world that is contagious. Walk your talk baby!

2016 can and will be your best year to date if you want it to be. You just need to start focusing on you can specifically do to propel your business forward.
